• Resumen

  Tras el ascenso de Hitler al poder en Alemania, el nacionalsocialismo inició un proceso de Gleichschaltung (igualación) de diversas instituciones de la colectividad alemana de la Argentina que, aunque exitoso, no abarca su totalidad. Durante las décadas de 1930 y 1940, se conformaron asociaciones que aglutinaron a germanoparlantes de diversas procedencias que compartí­an su oposición al Tercer Reich. Entre aquel variopinto conjunto de militantes antihitleristas, se encontraron dos agrupaciones que fueron dirigidas desde el exilio por Otto Strasser, quien durante la década de 1920 fue una de las principales figuras del Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (Partido nacionalsocialista obrero alemán). Los seguidores locales de Strasser fijaron sus posiciones ante la escalada antisemita experimentada en Europa, explicitaron sus concepciones acerca de la relación entre los judí­os y Alemania y mantuvieron contactos con los emigrados judí­os de habla alemana.

• Abstract

  Following Hitler's rise to power in Germany, National Socialism started a process of Gleichschaltung (uniformity) throughout diverse institutions belonging to the German community in Argentina. Though successful, it did not encompass them entirely. Associations that gathered Germanspeaking members of diverse origins sharing a common opposition to the Third Reich sprung to life during the 1930's and 1940's. Among the motley group of anti-Hitlerite militants, were two groups directed from his exile by Otto Strasser, who during the 1920's had been one of the main figures of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National socialist German worker's party). Local Strasser followers presented their points of view regarding the escalation of anti-Semitism in Europe, made their thoughts on the relationship between Jews and Germany known, and kept in touch with the German-speaking Jewish émigrés.
